You'll need to have a device that can capture digital movies—this could be a camcorder, digital camera, or even your cell phone! You copy the movies to your computer, and then you can either upload them as-is or edit them with software such as iMovie or Windows Movie Maker to add titles and special effects.
Once you're happy with your final result, you'll need to save the video in a format that Quarter Horse Tube can accept in order to upload. Unless you're a professional video producer, we recommend that you save your videos as either QuickTime .MOV, Windows .AVI, or .MPG files— these are the most common formats and they work well within our system. We specifically recommend the MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 640x480 resolution with MP3 audio. Resizing your video to these specifications before uploading will help your clips look better on Quarter Horse Tube.
Uploading Videos to Quarter Horse Tube
Once you’ve finished editing your video, made sure it's less than 10 minutes, smaller than 100MB, and in an acceptable format, you're ready to upload it.

1. Click "Upload Videos" in the upper-right-hand corner of any QH Tube page. http://www.quarterhorsetube.com/members/action/videouploadpopup/
   
2. Enter as much information about your video as possible, including Title, Description, Tags, and Category. The more information you include, the easier it is for users to find your video!
   
3. Determine if you want your video set to Public or Private. .
4. Click the "Upload a Video" button.
5. In the next window, click the "Browse" button to browse for the video file. Select the file you want to upload.
6. Click the "Upload Video" button.

It can take from a couple minutes to an hour for your video to upload to Quarter Horse Tube depend on size of your video and Internet speed
If you're receiving an error with your Upload, you might want to make sure you're attempting to upload a file that's recognized by Quarter Horse Tube. QH tube accepts video files from most digital cameras and camcorders, and cell phones in the .AVI, .MOV, .WMV, and .MPG file formats.
Uploading Videos from YouTube and Google (Upload External Video)

1.  Log in to Quarter Horse Tube.
2. Go to The upload Video page http://www.quarterhorsetube.com/members/action/videouploadpopup/
3. Enter the information about the  video from YouTube or Google you want to list on Quarter Horse Tube. This is required before uploading the video.
4. After enter all information, click on button  ‘Upload external Video’
5. Go to your favorite video from YouTube or Google and copy the URL in the address…. of the video. This URL is for a example for a Google video: http://video.google.com/videoplay? docid=537686963646486914  (and for) a YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=bcxec6nE6s0 
   Copy/paste this URL into the field beside: ‘ You can try both 'youtube'& 'google'’. After paste the URL into the field you click on the button ‘Upload’.
   Wait till you get the message ‘upload succeed’
